詹姆斯米. Freeman is the second person in his family to have taught at San José State. His father, Eugene Freeman, was a Professor in the Department of Philosophy.

Of his career at San José State, 詹姆斯•弗里曼 writes, "I am grateful to my parents, my wife and my students, who suggested that what I teach have relevance to the world 在他们周围.
